Portland-based graphic designer, illustrator and painter Hanna Boone is a creative force to be reckoned with. Whether her medium is canvas, paper or a computer screen, she approaches each with an unbridled energy and a passion for the project. The results are bold, unexpected, and bring a refreshing new voice to the world of design.

Growing up painting alongside her mother, an art teacher, and her father, a sculptor, she developed an early love for art. Her infatuation with oils and acrylics intensified in college, where she studied Fine Art & Graphic Design. Her design sensibilities were further refined in London, where she attended AIU Fashion/Art School before bringing her talents back to the U.S to work in graphic design. She has worked in design houses in San Francisco, Portland and Seattle, creating lustful product, compelling websites and dynamic marketing campaigns for some of the largest brands in the Sports and Travel industry.

Hanna’s artistic style tends to be multifaceted; creating works inspired by nature, yet informed by the realities of urban city living. Her compositions reflect a world where sharp lines and angles meet organic objects to produce a style that is bursting with vibrant color and bold texture.

Never one to stand still in her creativity, Hanna is currently showing at her first major art show at the Columbia Art Gallery, prepping for two more shows this summer and pursuing advanced education in 3D rendering, Interior Design and Textile Design.
